Sarah Engel
Sarah has been been riding and showing for 15 years in Dresssage and Eventing (instructing for the past 8). She's shown both USDF and GMO sanctioned shows, has sucessfully competed regionally at various TEAM (The Eventing Association of Michigan) events and was a Regional qualifier on Grand Valley's Equestrian Team.
Sarah is in her last few months at Grand Valley and will graduate with a degree in Theraputic Recreation with a minor in Psychology. Her career aspirations are to continue helping her students reach their riding goals, but beginning late 2009 she will begin her own Theraputic riding program here at Lamoreaux Ridge. Sarah is fully insured as a NARHA Certified Riding Instructor and 4H leader.
In addition to her lessons, Sarah has also organized and led summer horse camp programs for 6 years and started LREC's camp last year where participants learned about proper horse care, nutrition, safety, as well as having fun.
She has experience training all ages as well as all different types of horses and willing to work with you and your horse in order to achieve your highest potential.
